Bowie County Warrant Records Bowie County Warrant Records

Start with the city court that issued the paper. A municipal judge handles a city's own ordinance cases plus fine-only state-law matters, including traffic tickets and missed court dates. Bowie County city court warrants sit apart from the JP, County Court at Law, and district-court records, so the right clerk matters. Texarkana offers a payment route and warrant-clerk phone numbers, Nash describes a limited city report, and De Kalb says its warrant section is under construction. Elsewhere in Bowie County, phone or directory contacts are the way in. Use the city named on the citation, ask the clerk what the warrant record shows, and confirm whether payment, a plan, an appearance, or counsel is the required step.

How Municipal Court Warrants Work

A city municipal court handles city-ordinance and fine-only state-law cases within its jurisdiction. A missed answer date, setting, or judgment obligation can lead to an FTA warrant or capias pro fine. The municipal court keeps the city case record; police may hold a separate service or database record.

A city court result does not cover a JP ticket, County Court at Law matter, felony case, family capias, or federal process. The issuing city, not the resident's county address, controls the first status check.

Bowie County Texarkana Warrant Clerks

Texarkana Municipal Court links “Pay Your Warrant Online” through MyGov TXK, but its public page does not expose the vendor's search fields. The official FAQ lists two warrant-specific clerk numbers, 903-798-3009 and 903-798-3790, for options arising from city tickets. Ask whether the tool shows payment status, court status, or the warrant itself.

Texarkana says a citation should be answered by its due date in writing or in person; a phone call alone does not meet that requirement. A missed step may lead to a warrant. Read the city instructions and confirm the current route with the clerk.

Municipal Courts Across Bowie County

The Texas OCA directory identifies municipal courts for Texarkana, Wake Village, New Boston, Nash, De Kalb, Hooks, Maud, and Redwater. Each city court handles its own ordinance and Class C matters. Unincorporated traffic or fine-only cases may belong to a JP precinct instead, so use the court named on the ticket.

Nash Municipal Warrant List Is Limited

Nash's official court page describes a static report of open warrants issued by Nash within the last five years. It says the report is updated at the start of each month, yet the heading still reads “Warrant Listing 2022.” The court asks a person with a possible match to call 903-838-0822 for current options.

The report does not expose search fields and is not a Bowie County-wide list. Its rows are not copied here. A Nash result cannot answer whether another city, JP precinct, district, family, or federal court has a separate record.

Bowie County Municipal Warrant Checks

The available route varies by city. Texarkana lists warrant clerk numbers and an online payment link; Nash provides a static report and court phone; De Kalb marks its warrant area under construction; New Boston routes its court page through city hall; Wake Village appears in the OCA directory. Have the citation or case number ready when you call.

  1. Identify the municipal court named on the citation.
  2. Use only the official payment or status route that city publishes.
  3. Call the municipal clerk and ask for warrant type, current status, amount, and next step.
  4. If the issue is an incident or service record, ask the city police records contact separately.
  5. For a city without public search fields, request the existing record through its clerk or written PIA route.

Bowie County De Kalb Court Tool Is Unfinished

De Kalb's court page provides a pay-fine route and says to call 903-667-2410 for the amount. Its “Warrants” section reads “UNDER CONSTRUCTION.” The payment path is not proof of current warrant status, and the unfinished page is not evidence that the court has no warrants.

Ask whether the case is active or recalled, whether payment changes only the balance, and whether a court date remains. For a historical record, De Kalb's public-information page says a written request may go to the City Secretary/Public Information Officer by hand, mail, or email.

Municipal Warrants: What They Show

A municipal case may carry a citation or cause number, offense, court name, amount, issue date, and warrant or FTA status. No shared Bowie County number format or city-to-city status code table was located. Ask the clerk which field identifies the case and whether the result is a payment balance or an actual warrant status.

Amount or bondConfirm current terms with that court; no countywide schedule was found.
StatusAsk if active, recalled, paid, served, or awaiting a court action.

The police service record may not contain the clerk's balance or next court date. Request the court record and any separate return or arrest record by name and record type.

Bowie County Municipal Records Are Separate

The county sheriff page did not show a public countywide warrant search. A city municipal warrant can therefore be absent from the sheriff's page without saying whether it is active or recalled. The court issuing the city process remains the first status source; city police may hold separate service details.

A city court and a JP court are distinct even when they serve the same town. A De Kalb municipal ticket is not the same file as a JP3 case. A New Boston city ticket is not the same as JP2, County Court at Law, or district process at the county courthouse.

Clearing a Municipal Court Warrant

Contact the issuing city court and ask whether the warrant is active, what payment or appearance applies, and whether a plan, defensive driving, community service, bond, or attorney setting is available. These options depend on the case and the court. A payment may satisfy a balance without disposing of the underlying charge.

  1. Call the clerk named on the citation and ask for current status and type.
  2. Confirm whether to pay, request a plan or alternative, post bond, or appear.
  3. Ask whether a plea or new setting is part of the transaction.
  4. Keep written proof and ask when local and DPS records will update.

Warning: A payment link may show a balance without confirming recall; ask the clerk what order or receipt records the warrant's current status.

Bowie County City Courts Have Different Steps

Texarkana's 2025 amnesty is a completed event; its budget reports 222 warrants recalled between February 3 and April 17, 2025. Nash describes payment plans, defensive driving, community service, and amnesty language but does not publish current amounts or dates. De Kalb directs callers to its court while the public warrant section remains unfinished.

These city details cannot be combined into one county rule. Ask the municipal clerk which option is available now and whether the court has separately recalled the warrant after payment, plan approval, or appearance.
