Bowie County Warrant Searches
There is no one public search that covers all Bowie County warrants. Start with the court named on the citation, docket, or notice. A felony question goes to the District Clerk or named district court in New Boston; a county-level criminal docket goes to the County Court at Law; a traffic or Class C case goes to its JP or city court.
Have the case paper and your legal name ready. Ask whether the warrant is active, what type it is, whether a payment or appearance is required, and when the record changes after action. A phone confirmation from the issuing clerk is more useful than a broad search with unclear coverage.
- Read the paperwork and use the court or precinct printed on it.
- Call that clerk with the citation or cause number and ask for the current status.
- For a Texarkana, Nash, or De Kalb ticket, use the city court's own route.
- For law-enforcement records, request an existing report from the agency that holds it.
- If the matter is a felony, federal case, or unclear record, seek legal advice before appearing.
No Bowie County Warrant Portal
The official sheriff page lists a phone and office address, and links the county inmate search, but no public warrant-search or full active-warrant list was located in the September 20, 2026 review. The inmate tool reports custody in its system. It cannot rule out an unserved warrant or a case held by another court.
Use the sheriff for a sheriff-held record, not as a countywide index. The county office directory helps route a request to the District Court, County Court at Law, JP offices, or Constable. Identify the specific record before submitting a request.
The Texas judicial directory is a fallback for current court contacts.

What a Warrant Search Asks For
The public source set does not show a countywide warrant form with name, date-of-birth, or warrant-number fields. Texarkana's MyGov TXK link is not field-verified, Nash's page is a static report, De Kalb's warrant section is under construction, and the JP pages direct readers to clerks and forms. Do not enter assumptions about a search box that the official page does not expose.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sheriff warrant form | None located | No | Official page has no public warrant fields. |
| Texarkana MyGov link | Unknown | Unknown | Official court link is visible; vendor fields were not verified. |
| Nash report | Static page | No | Five-year city scope; call 903-838-0822. |
| De Kalb warrants | No fields | No | Court page says under construction; call 903-667-2410. |
| JP clerk route | Phone or in person | Not published | Use the precinct named on the citation. |
The only captured required online payment identifier is a Texarkana citation number. Payment is not the same as a complete search for all warrants. Ask the court whether its tool reports a balance, a court status, a warrant status, or only a transaction route.
Texarkana Warrant Portal Fields Remain Unknown
Texarkana Municipal Court links “Pay Your Warrant Online” through MyGov TXK. The public page does not reveal the vendor's search fields in the captured HTML. Do not claim it searches by name, birth date, warrant number, or across other courts unless the live official flow confirms that point.
The city citation-payment page does state that online payment needs a citation number and may add a service fee. That identifies a payment field, not an all-warrant search. For a warrant question, the court FAQ lists 903-798-3009 and 903-798-3790 for clerk options.
The official City of Texarkana links to the vendor interface.

Bowie County Warrant Search Results
No public countywide result page was located to verify a standard field set. A court or agency may hold the issuing court, cause or citation number, process type, date, amount or bond instruction, status, and service or recall event. The office may release only part of a record where privacy or case rules apply.
| Number | Not published Copy the citation or cause number from court paperwork. |
|---|---|
| Issuing court | Names the JP, municipal, County Court at Law, district, family, or federal venue. |
| Process type | Ask whether it is an arrest warrant, FTA process, capias pro fine, or another order. |
| Status | Confirm active, served, recalled, quashed, paid, or removed with the court. |
| Amount or bond | Request the current court-specific figure and where it may be posted. |
A bare “no result” cannot settle whether another office has a record. Fresh entries, sealed affidavits, juvenile files, and other jurisdictions may not appear in a public screen. Ask the clerk to confirm the record held by that court and note the date of the answer.
Nash Warrant Search Has City Scope
Nash describes a five-year report of open warrants issued by Nash and says it is updated at the beginning of each month. The page heading still reads “Warrant Listing 2022,” so the stated cadence and visible heading need to be presented together. The report is not an interactive search and does not answer JP, district, county, family, federal, or another city's question.
If the report may concern your own case, call Nash Municipal Court at 903-838-0822 for current status and options. Its entries are not reproduced here. A court clerk can explain whether the record remains open and what action will change it.
The official Nash page is the source for the report's scope and phone route.
Bowie County Warrants: Who Holds What
The issuing court holds the case process. The sheriff, a constable, or city police may hold service or arrest records. The District Clerk is the route for district criminal files, a JP clerk holds precinct matters, and a city municipal clerk answers for city tickets. Federal records are handled through the Eastern District of Texas rather than a county search.
Texas has no public statewide warrant search. TCIC and NCIC are law-enforcement systems. DPS's FTA/FTP and OmniBase route concerns reported citation violations and license renewal, but DPS says its license specialists do not have warrant information. Contact the reporting court for the underlying matter.
Bowie County PIA Requests Need Scope
A Texas Public Information Act request should name an existing, identifiable record and the agency likely to hold it. For a court file, ask the issuing clerk for a warrant, capias, docket entry, or recall order. For a law-enforcement file, ask the agency for a return of service, arrest report, or database action. Chapter 552 does not require one office to create a countywide search.
Texarkana routes police requests to its City Secretary and GovTransfer. Its official page instructs requesters to select “TEXARKANA PD (TX/AR) & BOWIE COUNTY SHERIFF” and include party, date, time, location, or case details. It also says attachments are not accepted by email. Ask the live page which fields and fees apply.
The official Texas law page explains the request rule and exceptions.

Fees may apply, but a current Bowie County warrant-search or certified-copy fee was not located.
Which Warrants Stay Restricted
Texas law favors public information but permits exceptions and redactions. Juvenile justice records receive special protection, some search-warrant affidavits can be sealed, and active-investigation material or protected victim information may not be released in full. A request may receive basic public information with sensitive fields removed.
Key Rules:
Article 18.011 allows sealing of certain search-warrant affidavits on a compelling state-interest showing.
Family Code Chapter 58 limits public access to juvenile justice information.
A partial or empty result is not proof that no warrant exists; confirm with the issuing court.
For a historical record, ask the custodian for releasable portions and the basis for any redaction. Do not confuse a protected affidavit with the underlying court case or an ordinary citation record.
Bowie County DPS Warrant Checks
Texas has no single public statewide warrant portal. TCIC and NCIC are for law enforcement, while DPS's FTA/FTP program concerns court-reported citations and license renewal. A license compliance result is not an arrest-warrant confirmation, and a clear DPS screen does not clear an unrelated court file.
Federal docket access is separate as well. PACER may show public case filings, but sealed records or unexecuted process may not appear. For any uncertain result, use the relevant issuing court or counsel rather than treating one database as complete.
